Thanks to Chris, I now better grasp Jordan's unapologetic interpretation of Maximus' doxology as - not hyperbolic, but - matter of fact?

I don't want to caricature or mischaracterize anyone's position, but their whole conversation seemed to suggest to me that we should take the "Glory Be" literally, i.e. that as it was in the beginning, it is now & it ever shall be?

What radicals! That's wild!

On my earlier journey, I came to appreciate THAT contemplative spirituality COULD be democratized (Merton, Little Flower et al)!

Thanks to Jordan's dissertation, in recent years, I've come to better understand WHY it SHOULD be democratized!
