As imagoes Dei, the potencies of our primary nature allow us to sufficiently align our wills with the divine esse intentionale. Some purgation may be necessary, whether proleptically or eschatologically, to restore any impairments.
Tropically, as we co-creatively co-determine our secondary natures, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can transcend even that abundant degree of essential volitional synergy to potentially align our wills with the divine will to a perfect degree, realizing the intimate superabundance afforded us as similitudines Dei per our secondary natures.
That means we realize not only a bidirectional but symmetric mutual interpenetration (that is by & into) of divine & human wills, meta-noetically, and also of human primary & secondary natures with the divine secondary nature, meta-ontically.
