We best distinguish between human limiting potencies as
1) passive,
2) operative &
3) realized potencies,
which refer to us, as images (passive) who grow to likenesses (operative) as we come more human, better signifying Christ, on the way to fully realizing our authentic humanity (realized) & acting as Christ acts, ie exemplifying Christ.
We can provisionally employ the syllogistics of signification (those of determinate being) to refer to how, temporally, we become vestiges, images & likenesses of Christ. We imitate Christ to various extents. In other words, think primary & secondary substances and instantiations.
We can properly employ the syllogistics of exemplification (like those of divine being) to refer to how, once we've become authentically human, we act as Christ acts. This exemplificatory logic applies to both eschatological and proleptic realizations of human authenticity. In other words, think primary substances, immanent universals & exemplifications.
