What about the One, Who simultaneously experienced the patiency of His own agency?
Abstractly, we properly apply modal qualifications & asymmetries, participatory analogies & apophatic negations to divine & human natures and speak of agencies, volitions, intelligibilities, intentionalities, universals, etc
Concretely, can’t we properly explore & speculate about various positive principles that might be implicated in those abstractions, for example – not as derived from the imposition of competing metaphysical idioms, but – as exegetically mined from such as a synoptic narrative Christology and/or historically interpreted from our community’s councils, traditions, practices & worship?
Might we explore persons as subjects of positive metaphysical acts, undergirded by various positive principles (divine arche & fontal plenitude, infinite ex Deo potencies of human persons)?
Might we speak of the positive content of divine mysteries, especially incarnation, in terms of – not only divine & human natures, but – synergistic doers of identical divine teloi?
Might we locate here the interpersonal symmetries & reciprocities of agents, whom, as in the 12 Days of Christmas, we can properly refer to using agent nouns (like butchers, bakers & candlestick makers)?
What songs might we sing & stories might we tell, then, about agents willing, powers doing, actualizers actualizing, individuators individuating, particularizers particularizing, universalizers universalizing, incarnators incarnating, intenders intending,
intellectors intellecting, participators participating and
lovers loving?
What about the One, Who simultaneously experienced the patiency of His own agency? the particularity of His own universality?
What about the Many, Who are in infinite ex Deo potency, Who are beloved, becoming Lovers?
